Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
  • 3 years' experience driving all types of vehicles
  • Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions, parallel park, and park in confined spaces
  • Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor

  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills with a guest first mentality
  • Ability to build relationships with guests to build repeat business
  • Ability to handle difficult situations involving guests to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ability to display a sense of urgency when assisting casino guests
  • Ability to drive all cars in a safe manner and adhere to traffic laws and driving regulations
  • Ability to learn and adhere to policies and procedures, respectful work environment, and performance
  • Ability to document incidents and write up reports in an accurate and legible manner
  • Ability to respond/resolve guest complaints in a manner compliant with Muckleshoot Casino standards & image
  • Ability to interact with diverse individuals and function as a member of the team
  • Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to identify intoxicated guests and follow department procedures in handling such guests
  • Ability to maintain a clean driving record during employment
  • Ability to utilize portable radio to be in constant contact for the Department as needed

Job Duties

  • Exemplifies MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism
  • Practice, support and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR)
  • Directs vehicle traffic, secures transportation, and assists with luggage
  • Safely parks, secures, and promptly retrieves guest vehicles
  • Records guest information and parking details on valet ticket
  • Provides information about the hotel, restaurant, and surrounding areas
  • Delivers efficient, gracious, and professional service to maximize guest satisfaction
  • Maintains professional appearance, responds to guest service issues, and reports to management
  • Prioritizes safety while driving responsibly
  • Greets visitors, opens doors, and assists elderly/disabled guests
  • Operates guest vehicles safely, ensuring security, and providing accurate directions
  • Maintains a positive attitude in extreme weather conditions
  • Recommends alternative transportation for intoxicated guests, following policies
  • Promotes a positive and safe work environment, ensuring security of vehicles and belongings
  • Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Manages opening and closing of parking area/facility
  • Documents and reports vehicle incidents and maintains shift logs
  • Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and security/safety hazards to supervisor
  • Monitors and maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas
  • Redirects traffic when parking facility is full and communicates with staff
  • Engages guests and team members professionally
  • Performs assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Smile and engage guests and team members with a positive professional demeanor
  • Performs other duties as assigned
