Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience
  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with guests and employees
  • Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Ability to lift and move up to 65 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to run or jog more than 50% of shifts
  • Obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Maintain acceptable driving record as per company policy

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • Previous valet experience preferred
  • Must be 19 years of age with 3 years driving experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in English language
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with business contacts and employees
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret and follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
  • Must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record per GSR SOP

Job Duties

  • Open hotel main doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
  • Assist guests with opening/closing vehicle doors
  • Welcome guests and visitors with appropriate greetings
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within 25 to 30 seconds and provide professional, fast and friendly service
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
  • Tag guest vehicle keys with date and time, registration number, make/model, room number or contact number of the guest
  • Verify guests ticket with the one attached to the key before handing over keys or vehicle to the guest
  • Effectively park and retrieve guests cars without causing damage
  • Drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, and special events
  • Give fond farewell to all guests who are departing as per GSR standards
  • Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
  • Maintain the security of vehicles, personal belongings, and vehicle keys
  • Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met
  • Document and report all vehicle incidents like damages, accidents, theft, missing articles
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor or manager
  • Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and key booth
  • Re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity and inform staff accordingly
