Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years driving experience
Must be at least 19 years old
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with guests and employees
Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Ability to lift and move up to 65 pounds regularly
Must be able to run or jog more than 50% of shifts
Obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
Maintain acceptable driving record as per company policy

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED certificate
Previous valet experience preferred
Must be 19 years of age with 3 years driving experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fluent in English language
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with business contacts and employees
Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret and follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
Must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
Must maintain an acceptable driving record per GSR SOP

Job Duties

Open hotel main doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
Assist guests with opening/closing vehicle doors
Welcome guests and visitors with appropriate greetings
Acknowledge and greet guests within 25 to 30 seconds and provide professional, fast and friendly service
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
Tag guest vehicle keys with date and time, registration number, make/model, room number or contact number of the guest
Verify guests ticket with the one attached to the key before handing over keys or vehicle to the guest
Effectively park and retrieve guests cars without causing damage
Drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Provide guests with information regarding property facilities, amenities, services, and special events
Give fond farewell to all guests who are departing as per GSR standards
Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
Maintain the security of vehicles, personal belongings, and vehicle keys
Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met
Document and report all vehicle incidents like damages, accidents, theft, missing articles
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor or manager
Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and key booth
Re-route traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity and inform staff accordingly
