The role of the Valet Parking Service Representative at ABM provides a unique and rewarding opportunity to deliver excellent guest services while ensuring a positive and professional experience for all patrons. This position is an entry-level role suitable for those entering or re-entering the workforce, requiring minimal prior experience while offering robust on-the-job training. The representative acts as a vital link in maintaining smooth traffic flow, delivering courteous service, and managing vehicle parking and retrieval safely in compliance with traffic laws and facility policies. The schedule for this role involves shifts from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, with a pay rate of $12 per hour plus tips, potentially adjusted based on experience, skills, and market alignment. The work environment involves operating outdoors in varying weather conditions, promoting physical activity and engagement with guests. - Assist guests with loading and unloading their belongings
- Secure and manage guest keys responsibly
- Anticipate traffic flow patterns and communicate them proactively
- Identify and seek additional support during peak times
- Manage the tip pool accurately and ensure fair distribution
- Process various valet payments securely
- Track, reconcile, and report daily revenue effectively
- Forecast currency needs and reorder supplies as necessary
- Operate, park, and retrieve vehicles safely, complying with all traffic laws and facility policies
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
