Job Description

Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader in hospitality-focused parking services, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. PMC excels in providing exceptional valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, and porter/bell services across a wide range of industries including hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a guest-first mindset, PMC acts as an extension of the hospitality experience, delivering seamless, high-touch service that consistently exceeds the expectations of partners and guests alike. The company’s comprehensive approach combines operational expertise with a culture of service, ensuring each guest interaction is memorable and professional.

The Valet Attendant role at PMC is critical in shaping the first and last impressions guests receive when visiting a property. As a Valet Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in providing courteous, efficient, and safe valet services that uphold the company’s high standards. This includes greeting guests warmly, managing vehicle drop-off and retrieval with precision, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational policies. You will be responsible not only for the protection and security of guest vehicles but also for orchestrating smooth traffic flow and addressing guest inquiries courteously. The position requires physical stamina, patience, and a professional demeanor to operate in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes under challenging weather conditions.

PMC offers this role in full-time and part-time capacities, classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, meaning eligible employees will receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek. Compensation is provided hourly with the opportunity to earn tips based on service quality and customer interactions, with rates varying by market. Valet Attendants are expected to present themselves in full uniform, maintain punctuality, and contribute to a positive team environment. This role provides a valuable opportunity for those interested in hospitality careers, offering paid training, internal leadership development programs, and tuition assistance through partnerships with Bellevue University.

In addition to delivering outstanding guest service, Valet Attendants support operational goals through maintaining organized, clean valet areas, adhering to attendance policies, and collaborating effectively with team members. PMC values flexibility, professionalism, and customer focus, making this position ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging with people. As an equal opportunity employer, PMC is committed to providing reasonable accommodations and fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace, ensuring all employees have the support they need to succeed and grow within the company.
