Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, PMC specializes in comprehensive parking management solutions including valet and self-parking operations, shuttle services, event parking, and porter/bell services. Serving a diverse array of industries such as hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues, PMC embodies a guest-first philosophy that seamlessly extends the hospitality experience through exceptional service quality. This commitment to excellence has positioned PMC as a trusted partner across multiple markets, delivering tailored solutions that enhance both partner and guest satisfaction.
The Valet Attendant plays a vital role within PMC’s service delivery model, acting as the first and last point of contact for guests utilizing valet parking services. This role is designed to provide a professional, courteous, and efficient parking and retrieval process to support an outstanding guest experience. As a valet attendant, you will be responsible for safely handling guests' vehicles while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Through attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols, you will help ensure that guests feel valued and confident in the service they receive.
This position requires an individual capable of managing the flow of vehicles and guests with care and professionalism. Duties include conducting thorough vehicle damage inspections, documenting parking locations, maintaining a clean and organized valet area, and managing key handling protocols meticulously. Additionally, the valet attendant works closely with teammates and supervisors to handle problem situations respectfully and efficiently. This role demands flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays to best support operational needs.
PMC emphasizes the importance of a dependable work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. Experience in customer service is highly valued, though a helpful and committed mindset is the cornerstone of success in this position. PMC also values diversity and equal opportunity, offering a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and fair treatment for all employees.
Employment with PMC is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, which means valet attendants are eligible for overtime pay. Compensation is offered as an hourly wage plus tips based on service quality and customer interaction, with rates varying by market. PMC is committed to pay transparency, legal compliance with wage and employment laws, and equitable compensation practices.
Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package after eligibility, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, life insurance, critical illness coverage, paid time off, paid training opportunities, tuition assistance up to $5,250 annually through Bellevue University, and access to nationwide discounts through Perks at Work. PMC is proud to be a military-friendly employer demonstrating its commitment to diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
Overall, the valet attendant role with Parking Management Company offers a rewarding opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment where professionalism, safety, and outstanding service are paramount. Whether you are seeking to develop your career in hospitality or parking services, PMC provides the training and support needed to succeed while delivering an exceptional guest experience consistently.
