PMC currently seeks to hire Valet Attendants, professionals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service through safe and efficient vehicle management. The Valet Attendant role is crucial because it represents the first and last guest interaction, setting the tone for the entire hospitality experience. Valet Attendants are responsible for warmly greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and managing traffic flow around parking areas. This position requires adherence to all safety and operational procedures, ensuring vehicle and personal security while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Valet Attendants work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting and must handle challenging situations with professionalism and care.

This position is available on a full-time and part-time basis and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation includes an hourly wage plus tip opportunities, with rates and tip amounts varying by market and service performance. PMC emphasizes pay transparency and equity, complying fully with all applicable federal, state, and local wage and compensation laws.

The role involves a variety of responsibilities including vehicle inspections that note any damage and parking locations, ensuring key handling protocols are followed, and maintaining compliance with attendance and timekeeping rules. Valet Attendants keep their work areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times, contributing to a positive workplace culture along with their team members. They are expected to participate in ongoing training and staff meetings and remain flexible in adapting to changing operational needs.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable motor vehicle record. Experience in customer service is preferred but a positive attitude and willingness to learn and assist guests is mandatory. Valet Attendants must be capable of performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods, sometimes in varying weather conditions. They must also maintain a professional appearance and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations on claim tickets
  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to proper key handling procedures
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain personal and vehicle security
  • Maintain compliance with attendance and timekeeping policies including clocking in/out for shifts and breaks and accurately reporting tips
  • Keep valet areas clean, organized, and presentable always
  • Handle challenging situations with professionalism and resolve problems promptly
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to company policies
