Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work overnight shifts Wednesday through Sunday
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow established procedures and work under specific directions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions
- Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and attentive hospitality service to guests
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly
- Assist guests with luggage delivery and pick-up
- Greet guests within five feet using professional and courteous language
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Maintain accurate records of valet tickets and vehicle locations
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, and local information
