Job Description

We are a franchise group operating nine Ruth's Chris Steak Houses, with locations across North Carolina, Maryland, and New Jersey. As part of a prestigious and well-established dining experience, our commitment centers on delivering exceptional service and memorable guest interactions to uphold the brand's high standards. The franchise prides itself on its dedication to a plus one service culture, where every team member contributes to exceeding guest expectations in a professional and courteous environment. We value integrity, teamwork, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to return time and again.

The role of Valet Attendant is a key front-of-house position responsible for providing valet parking and front door guest services. Reporting directly to the Valet Manager, this full-time or part-time role demands professionalism, safety consciousness, and superior customer service skills to ensure a smooth and positive valet experience. The Valet Attendant will operate, park, and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and facility policies. Essential duties include managing outdoor work in all weather conditions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and upholding dress code and hygiene standards. This position plays a vital role in managing curbside congestion, assisting guests with their vehicles with courteous attention, and providing a friendly greeting that enhances the overall hospitality experience.

Successful candidates are skilled drivers—comfortable operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles—and possess a strong commitment to customer service. The role requires stamina as attendants must run to and from vehicle parking areas for extended periods. Attendants must be alert to suspicious or unsafe activities to uphold guest safety and report concerns promptly. Communication and teamwork are fundamental elements of the position, as attendants regularly interact with peers and management to synchronize operations and service quality. Valet Attendants embody the values of the Ruth's Chris Steak House franchise, contributing to the elevated guest experience by anticipating needs and maintaining an impeccable presentation throughout their shifts. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy dynamic work environments, take pride in excellent service delivery, and are motivated to be part of a renowned hospitality group.
