The role at SP+ focuses on operations management within their vast parking network. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of delivering outstanding customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and diplomatically. You will oversee valet attendant relationships and ensure operational excellence through effective supervision, training, and team development. Staffing accurately and efficiently to meet client needs and operational demands is a key responsibility, alongside maintaining strict parking, security, and cash control protocols.

Beyond day-to-day management, you will be tasked with enhancing profitability through strategic revenue development, marketing initiatives, and precise budget management. Managing procurement and vendor services is also critical to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities while upholding cleanliness and safety standards. You will play a vital role in handling damage claims and implementing preventative safety programs to minimize risks. Compliance with OSHA regulations and internal policies is mandatory, reflecting the company's commitment to legal and ethical operational standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in operations or customer service management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to stand and move around facility during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate team members
  • Passion for customer service and client satisfaction
  • Experience in budget development and profit and loss review
  • Ability to react and problem-solve quickly
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn internal computer programs
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record

Job Duties

  • Deliver premier customer service to clients
  • Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently
  • Ensure proactive communication with clients regarding operational improvements
  • Supervise valet attendant relations and resolve disputes diplomatically
  • Hire, develop, train, and supervise a team of employees
  • Identify proper staffing levels to ensure superior service and job completion
  • Enforce parking, security, and cash control procedures
  • Maximize profitability through revenue development, marketing, cash control, expense reviews, and budget management
  • Manage procurement and vendor service needs
  • Perform general accounting duties including accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash
  • Monitor facility maintenance and cleanliness
  • Monitor and review damage claims and implement safety improvement plans
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA laws and company policies
