Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work full-time in a non-management capacity
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and company standards
- Ability to work through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- Ability to navigate uneven or slippery surfaces and climb stairs or ramps
Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- No related work experience necessary
- No supervisory experience required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow company safety and security policies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from machines and place in clean linen carts
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters, and drain traps after each load
- Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes either by hand or using folding machines
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered
