This role offers a full-time, non-management position within the housekeeping and laundry department. As a Laundry Attendant at The Ritz-Carlton St. Louis, your primary focus will be to operate and monitor various laundry machinery, including washers, dry cleaning, and drying equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring all linen and guest items are cleaned to the highest standards, handling staining or damage assessments, and making decisions regarding repairs, spot treatments, rewashes, or disposal. Precision and efficiency are critical, as you will need to set dryers appropriately based on fabric types, maintain cleanliness and functionality of all machines by regularly cleaning lint traps and filters, and fold items either manually or with folding machines to the hotel's specified dimensions.
