The role offered is a full-time, non-management position within the housekeeping and laundry team at The Ritz-Carlton St. Louis. This position is essential in maintaining the reputation of the hotel by ensuring all laundry operations are performed with precision and care. As a Laundry Attendant, the individual will operate and control machinery used for washing, dry cleaning, and drying linens, including the precise use of chemicals and the maintenance of machinery filters. The role involves inspecting laundry items for stains or damage, treating them accordingly, and ensuring all items meet the high cleanliness standards before being arranged properly. The Laundry Attendant is expected to program the dryers based on fabric types, thoroughly clean lint filters, and fold clean linens either manually or with folding machines. Accurate record-keeping of all washed and ironed articles is also a vital part of the job.
