Job Description
ABM is a globally recognized leader in providing integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, serving diverse market sectors such as commercial real estate, aviation, education, mission critical facilities, and manufacturing and distribution centers. With a workforce exceeding 100,000 employees and annual revenues surging beyond $8 billion, ABM focuses on delivering essential services that enhance the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of occupied spaces. This commitment underscores their promise to innovate sustainable solutions and smart technologies that not only improve facility functionality but also empower clients to meet their strategic goals. Positioned as a military-friendly employer, ABM encourages veterans and those with military experience to apply, reflecting its dedication to inclusivity, equal opportunity, and community support.
The Valet role at ABM is a frontline position designed for individuals entering or reentering the workforce, offering a welcoming environment for those with limited formal education or work experience, including veterans transitioning from military service. Valets are responsible for providing professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services, effectively acting as the first point of contact and setting a positive tone for guest experiences. This role requires an age minimum of 21, a valid driver’s license, and the capability to operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles. Valets play a critical role in managing vehicle traffic flow and ensuring safe parking and retrieval, all while upholding facility policies and traffic regulations. They must communicate clearly with guests, assist with vehicle loading and unloading, and be vigilant about vehicle security and the safety of all patrons in the area.
Additionally, the Valet position demands attention to detail regarding financial transactions through accurate handling, receipt issuance, tip pool management, and daily revenue reconciliation. Valets work predominantly outdoors, facing varying weather conditions, and are expected to maintain cleanliness in their allocated work areas. ABM supports its Valet team members with a comprehensive benefits package and access to world-class training programs, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth within a stable and respected organization. This role also highlights ABM’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations and striving for a supportive work environment for individuals with disabilities and protected veteran status.
