Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state where working or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic mathematical abilities involving money calculations
  • Familiarity with 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and perform parallel parking
  • Capable of performing physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Greet guests within five feet with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Use guests' last names during interactions
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and promptly
  • Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pickup
  • Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue and collect claim checks, maintain ticket information accurately
