Valet Drivers are essential in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests warmly, handling their vehicles safely, and assisting with luggage and bell services. Working predominantly during the 2nd shift, Valet Drivers may work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making flexibility key. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license applicable to the state of employment
- Minimum one month related experience or equivalent education and experience combination
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Basic mathematical skills needed for monetary transactions
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods
- Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications

- Must hold a valid driver’s license applicable to the state of employment
- Minimum of one month related experience or equivalent education and experience combination
- Understanding of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and team members
- Basic mathematical skills for handling currency and calculating rates
- Familiarity with 24-hour time and military time systems
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is a plus
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor with all guests and colleagues
- Greet guests warmly within five feet, using their last names during interactions
- Use the salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Adhere to proper phone etiquette
- Remain in designated areas when not handling tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi service, reservations, and other inquiries
- Share information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations as needed
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and ensure claim checks are collected before returning keys
- Maintain accurate ticket information and complete vehicle documentation
- Calculate and collect vehicle-related revenue when necessary
