Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
- One month related experience or equivalent education and training
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand applicable rates and time systems
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Willingness to follow specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to effectively present information to guests and coworkers
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Manual transmission operation highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professionalism
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Guide guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before releasing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue as necessary
