Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend instructions
- Ability to write correspondence
- Ability to present information
- Basic math skills
- Understanding of time systems and parking rates
- Ability to drive manually and parallel park
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors
- Ability to follow established procedures
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations with money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- Ability to understand applicable parking rate systems
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide directions, taxi arrangements, and information about amenities
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks properly
- Complete and maintain ticket information including key tags, vehicle location, and damage survey
- Calculate and collect revenue for parking services
