Job Description
SP+, a Metropolis company, is a leading artificial intelligence company revolutionizing the parking industry through cutting-edge computer vision technology. This technology enables seamless checkout-free parking experiences, eliminating the need for tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards. The innovative service allows customers to simply "drive in and drive out," making parking more convenient and efficient than ever before. With a workforce of over 23,000 employees, SP+ operates the largest parking network across North America and Europe, managing more than 4,000 locations and transforming mobility for countless users every day.
The company’s mission goes beyond parking; it aims to enhance everyday experiences by powering checkout-free solutions wherever people live, work, and play. By redefining how parking functions, SP+ is committed to giving people back their most valuable resource — time. The company’s culture is built on three core values: Ingenuity, Diversity, and Integrity, fostering an environment where innovation and inclusivity drive success.
The Valet Driver role at SP+ offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional customer service and seeking career growth within a dynamic organization. This position pays $17.00 per hour and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Valet drivers are essential to delivering a positive and safe parking experience by managing vehicle inspections, greeting clients with warm smiles, and ensuring every interaction reflects the company’s commitment to excellence.
Working as a Valet at SP+ means being part of a knowledgeable and supportive team that encourages professional development. Many of the company’s leaders have risen through the ranks starting from valet positions, highlighting the potential for advancement and skill growth. The role requires adherence to strict safety standards, including observing traffic laws, performing thorough vehicle inspections, and reporting any incidents or hazards promptly to management.
Valet drivers are also expected to know the area’s major streets, landmarks, and freeways to help facilitate smooth customer transportation experiences. Maintaining a professional appearance by wearing the clean uniform and being punctual for every shift are important aspects of this role. Additionally, valets assist management with other duties as needed, contributing to the overall success of the parking operations.
SP+ is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination and harassment. The company offers reasonable accommodations to enable all employees, including those with disabilities, to perform their essential job functions. As part of the hiring process, SP+ may use an automated employment decision tool to evaluate candidates based on job qualifications and responsibilities. The company is transparent about data retention related to this process and supports candidates with accommodations upon request.
This Valet Driver position is based in Oxon Hill, Maryland, offering a stable and rewarding career path with a forward-thinking company that is transforming the parking experience through technology and exceptional customer care. If you are driven to succeed and enjoy working with people, SP+ welcomes you to join their team and take the first step toward a promising career in the parking and mobility solutions industry.
