Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in guest services or hospitality roles preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- good physical condition to handle baggage and stand for extended periods
- valid driver’s license
- dependable and punctual
- enthusiasm for guest interaction and Southern hospitality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel guest services or valet/bellstaff role preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate automobiles safely
- demonstrating hospitality and customer service skills
- positive attitude and professional appearance
Job Duties
- Enthusiastically welcomes guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
- assists guests with baggage handling
- helps guests in and out of automobiles
- opens lobby doors for guests
- parks and retrieves automobiles for guests promptly and safely
- listens and responds to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
- answers questions and offers assistance with accurate information regarding directions, hotel services and local attractions
- issues and collects automobile claim tickets
- maintains clean and safe entrances and parking lots
- follows applicable standard operating procedures
- assists guests to their rooms with their belongings
