The role of Valet at HRI Hospitality is critical in ensuring the seamless arrival and departure of guests, acting as the first point of welcoming contact. Job Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Top level customer service experience
  • Must be able to drive standard and automatic vehicles
  • Valid CA drivers license
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend
  • Good hearing and manual dexterity

Job Duties

  • Welcome and assist all arriving guests by helping unload luggage from vehicle
  • Assist guests with luggage to and from rooms
  • Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities and directions
  • Ensure hotel entrance is free of litter and debris at all times
  • Respond to guest needs promptly in delivering items such as dry cleaning, newspapers, packages
  • Greet guests upon arrival
  • Perform valet ticketing duties
  • Drive guests' cars to assigned parking facility
  • Assess and note any vehicle damages
  • Follow all traffic regulations using extreme caution
