Job Description
Seventh Dimension LLC is a distinguished company specializing in customer support, focusing primarily on Training & Support Services. Established in 2015, the company has built a solid reputation through its flexible and innovative solutions tailored to address complex operational challenges. Headquartered in North Carolina, Seventh Dimension LLC operates as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with a Top Secret Facility Clearance, Secret storage capabilities, and a DCAA-compliant accounting system. The organization emphasizes a veteran-friendly culture and commitment to equal employment opportunities, ensuring a supportive work environment for diverse employee backgrounds and experiences.
This job posting is for the role of Valet Attendant, located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. This position offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with no travel requirements. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exemplary valet parking services directly to VA patients and visitors, ensuring both their convenience and safety throughout their visit. Valet Attendants serve as the frontline representatives for the hospital’s valet services, delivering VIP-level customer care and assistance, consistently upholding the highest standards of service quality.
In this capacity, the Valet Attendant will greet and assist veteran patients with entering and exiting their vehicles, including the handling of VA-provided wheelchairs or patients’ personal wheelchairs. The role demands vigilance in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of designated valet staging and parking areas, ensuring these spaces are well regulated and reserved exclusively for entitled veteran patients or approved exceptions as per St. Louis VAMC guidelines. Adherence to safety protocols and timely parking or retrieval of vehicles—ideally within ten minutes—are vital components to ensure efficient operation and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Beyond basic parking duties, this role involves providing clear and helpful guidance to visitors, employees, and vendors on self-parking options, monitoring the parking areas for anything suspicious or any hazards, and reporting such incidents to the appropriate authorities. The Valet Attendant must maintain a clean and valid driving record, and rigorous background checks including drug screening and DMV history review are prerequisites for employment. Physical demands of the role include prolonged standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds, requiring suitability for an active and physically engaged working environment.
This position embodies more than just valeting vehicles; it is about extending respectful, attentive, and compassionate service to veterans who have served their country. Working at a medical center setting under the Department of Veterans Affairs adds a layer of community service and honor to the role, providing employees with a unique and fulfilling workplace experience. Those employed in this role will be part of a supportive team committed to making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families, all while ensuring operational efficiency and safety within the parking facilities.
