With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, LAZ Parking has established itself as a trusted name in the parking industry. The company prides itself on creating a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring safety, efficiency, and professionalism in every interaction. Employing innovative solutions and highly trained staff, LAZ Parking aims to enhance the overall customer experience by delivering reliable and courteous valet and parking services.
The role of a LAZ Valet Attendant is pivotal to the company’s success and reputation. This position serves as the first and last point of contact for clients and customers arriving and departing the parking facility, making a positive impression essential. Valet attendants are responsible for directing traffic, welcoming guests, handling vehicles with care, and offering exceptional customer service that goes beyond expectations. The role demands a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments subject to varying weather conditions.
Working as a part-time LAZ Valet Attendant, candidates must be available from Thursday to Sunday during afternoon and evening shifts. The starting wage is competitive at $18.25 per hour, supplemented by cash tips, which offers an attractive earning potential. Employees have access to Pay Active, an on-demand payment system allowing up to 50% of earned wages to be accessed immediately. Furthermore, LAZ Parking supports its workforce by offering a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching and an employee referral program that rewards $150 for successful referrals.
The position involves multiple responsibilities, such as greeting guests, opening and closing doors, handling luggage, managing keys and valet tickets, and safely parking and retrieving vehicles. Valet attendants are expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude, fostering strong customer relationships to enhance the LAZ brand experience. This role requires independence, reliability, and teamwork, ensuring high levels of service regardless of supervision.
Physical stamina is crucial for success in this role as it involves standing, walking, and running for extended periods, lifting and moving heavy items, and working in all weather conditions including heat, wind, snow, and rain. LAZ Parking is committed to inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and providing reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities. As a non-exempt, tipped position, LAZ Valet Attendants benefit from fair wage laws and a supportive workplace culture dedicated to employee well-being and development.
