Job Requirements

  • willingness to work Friday through Sunday schedule
  • ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with American money
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names
  • uses salutation of the day
  • welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility
  • delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to approved locations
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
