The hotel offers an authentic Pacific Northwest experience featuring distinctive architectural elements including aluminum exteriors, natural wood interiors, and cozy river-rock fireplaces. This scenic waterfront property overlooks both the Olympic Mountains and the Seattle skyline, combining natural beauty with luxurious hospitality. The Edgewater Hotel is currently seeking a Valet Attendant to join its Guest Services team on a seasonal basis from May through September. This role is integral to ensuring that every guest receives warm, friendly, and efficient service during their arrival, departure, and throughout their stay. The Valet Attendant will primarily provide bell and shuttle services but will assist with valet operations when required. Key competencies for this position include strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication. Knowledge of the Seattle area and familiarity with all hotel amenities and services are essential to successfully fulfill this role. This position requires flexibility to work both day and evening shifts, including weekends. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $21.30 plus tips, along with a comprehensive benefits package that enhances the overall employment experience. Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic vehicles
  • Flexibility to work day and evening shifts including weekends
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or valet role is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in valet, bell, or shuttle services is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a professional demeanor
  • Familiarity with the Seattle area and hotel services

Job Duties
