The valet attendant position at The Magic Castle is a unique and vital role that serves as the first and last point of contact for visitors and members alike. Reporting to the Valet Manager and Driveway Ambassadors, valet attendants are responsible for providing outstanding customer service by safely parking and retrieving vehicles promptly while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Attendants play a crucial role in setting the tone for a guest's experience, ensuring it begins and ends with the highest standards of hospitality.

Beyond vehicle handling, valet attendants monitor the parking areas to maintain security, operate and maintain valet equipment, and ensure clean and organized work environments. Additional responsibilities include shuttling performers to and from the airport, which supports the smooth operation of events and enhances visitor satisfaction. The role demands individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively solo or in teams, and a flexible schedule to accommodate busy days, weekends, and holidays.

The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions, as well as the capability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. With a pay structure including minimum wage plus tips, this role offers an opportunity to engage with a prestigious clientele while developing skills in customer service and operations within a celebrated cultural venue. Ideal candidates must have a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record and prior experience in valet services, particularly with both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
