Job Requirements
- Standing at least 8 hours a day
- Running up to 200 yards, 50 times a day or more
- Entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily
- Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. in and out of customers vehicles
- A valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle held for at least one year prior to applying
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in valet or hospitality services preferred
- Valid driver’s license held for at least one year
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Basic knowledge of local area and amenities
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver luggage and assist guests
Job Duties
- Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving property
- Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and local areas
- Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas
- Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
- Communicate parking procedures to guests
- Identify and explain room features to guests
- Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and designated bell area
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
- Assist guests in and out of vehicles including loading and unloading luggage
- Assist Concierge and Front Office staff with guest requests and services
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- Follow all company policies and ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
