The Valet Attendant position at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines serves as the essential first point of contact for guests arriving and departing the hotel. The role is fundamentally focused on creating a warm and inviting experience from the moment guests approach the resort, representing the hotel’s brand with professionalism and attentiveness. The Valet Attendant’s primary responsibility involves the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, ensuring a seamless flow that enhances overall guest satisfaction. This role requires precise communication and coordination with Resort Guest Services, making it critical to understand the daily events and operations within the hotel to provide accurate information and support to guests.

Job Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy luggage
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • knowledge of the local area and attractions
  • must have stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and run short distances
  • must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including hot and humid
  • must have an open and flexible schedule that includes morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • previous experience in a valet or customer service role is preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner
