Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
- at least one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read, write and comprehend English
- ability to operate vehicles safely
- physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
- availability for Monday through Friday shifts within specified early and mid-morning schedules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- knowledge of customer and personal services principles and processes
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
- ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money units
- ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- ability to understand applicable parking rates
- skill in manual transmission operation is highly desirable
- ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner and guest last names
- use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- practice proper phone etiquette
- park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities as well as local attractions
- deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- shuttle guests to approved locations
- explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- calculate and collect revenue from vehicles when needed
