Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to provide courteous and attentive customer service
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely and cautiously
- Ability to understand and apply parking rates and procedures
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Capable of completing and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to work flexible shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using American money units
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates related to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
- Provide information on outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
