As one of the most recognized brands in the gaming and hospitality industry, MGM Resorts has earned a reputation for excellence, putting a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and outstanding service.

At the heart of the MGM experience is the commitment to delivering WOW moments to every guest. This dedication is reflected in every role, including the position of Valet Attendant, which plays a crucial part in setting the first impression and ensuring every guest’s arrival and departure is seamless, safe, and memorable. This means warmly greeting guests, efficiently managing vehicle parking and retrieval, assisting guests who may have special needs or require extra help, and ensuring the flow of traffic remains smooth to avoid congestion. The role requires vigilance to report any security concerns or incidents immediately, thereby maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff alike.

Being a Valet Attendant requires a genuine enthusiasm for customer interaction and a commitment to professionalism. Candidates should be able to maintain composure under pressure, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be willing to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina and the ability to operate different types of vehicles safely are fundamental to success in this role.

MGM Resorts International stands out not only for its career opportunities but also for its dedication to employee wellness, growth, and satisfaction. By joining MGM Resorts, Valet Attendants can take advantage of wellness incentive programs that support both physical and mental health, comprehensive health and income protection benefits for eligible employees, and access to exclusive discounts across MGM’s expansive network of hotels, food and beverage outlets, retail stores, and entertainment activities. Additional perks like free meals in the employee dining room, free parking, and various programs geared towards career progression create a supportive and rewarding work environment.

Overall, working as a Valet Attendant at MGM Resorts International in Detroit means being part of a larger story of hospitality and entertainment excellence. It’s a chance to contribute to unforgettable guest experiences, grow professionally, and be part of a company that values its people just as much as its guests.
