With a workforce of nearly 30,000 team members, Crothall Healthcare prides itself on delivering high-quality and innovative services focused on environmental services, patient transportation, patient observation, facilities management, healthcare technology solutions, ambulatory services, and sterile processing. The company operates with a core philosophy of caring deeply for people, fostering a supportive workplace culture, and creating lasting relationships. This foundation empowers employees to make a meaningful difference in healthcare experiences and grow their potential within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The current opening at Crothall Healthcare is for a full-time Valet Attendant position located at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with weekends off, and a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour. It provides an excellent opportunity for candidates who wish to join a reputable company in the healthcare support industry and contribute directly to excellent patient and guest services.
As a Valet Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for patients, guests, and visitors arriving at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to provide courteous, safe, and efficient valet parking services, ensuring that each vehicle is delivered accurately and promptly to its destination. In addition to vehicle handling, this role requires skill in assisting patients and guests in and out of vehicles, utilizing proper body mechanics, and safely escorting them. You'll also be responsible for managing wheelchair transportation and sanitizing equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
This position involves interacting with a diverse range of individuals daily, making interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor essential for success. The Valet Attendant must be competent in driving a variety of vehicles, including both manual and automatic transmissions, ranging from sub-compacts to SUVs and vans. Flexibility and responsiveness are also vital, as the attendant may need to react promptly to emergency situations, including code calls or disaster events within the hospital.
Crothall Healthcare emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork, expecting employees to uphold these values consistently. The role includes additional responsibilities such as general upkeep of valet and parking areas to ensure they remain orderly and safe. Although the job description is comprehensive, candidates should understand that the list of duties is not exhaustive, and flexibility may be required to undertake other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
This is more than just a valet service role; it is a chance to contribute positively to patient care and hospital operations within a company recognized for its leadership in healthcare support services. Crothall Healthcare offers a strong benefits package and a work environment where respect, inclusivity, and professional growth are prioritized. If you possess a valid driver’s license, are reliable and service-oriented, and want to be part of a team that values your contributions, this position may be ideal for you.
