Job Description
Valet Park of America (VPA) is a premier valet service company operating in the Albany, New York area, specializing in providing professional, reliable, and customer-focused valet parking services. Known for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and employee growth, VPA has established itself as a leader in the valet industry with multiple locations across Albany. The company prides itself on creating a positive work environment that fosters professional development and encourages employee engagement through incentives and company events. By partnering with a diverse range of clients, including hotels, restaurants, and event venues, VPA delivers top-tier valet services that reflect well on both the company and the establishments it serves.
The role of Valet Attendant at VPA offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting customers by safely parking and retrieving their vehicles. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible full-time or part-time morning shifts typically scheduled from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, covering all days of the week including weekends. Compensation is competitive with a base rate plus tips, allowing attendants to earn $18 to $22 per hour or more right from the start, with tips paid out daily and wages distributed weekly through check, direct deposit, or pay card options.
Valet attendants are the face of the company and represent the establishments they serve by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service. The job involves physically demanding tasks such as standing for extended periods, quickly moving between vehicles, and assisting customers with their belongings, making it a great fit for those who enjoy staying active while working. VPA supports its employees with comprehensive training programs, management opportunities from within, and a supportive company culture that values each team member's contribution.
Employees at VPA benefit from numerous perks, including incentive programs, company-sponsored events such as sporting outings and picnics, and a quarterly newsletter that keeps staff informed and connected. The company is dedicated to continuous growth and success even in challenging economic climates, which translates into new and exciting job opportunities for its valet team. VPA also encourages educational advancement through scholarship opportunities. The role requires individuals to have a valid Class D driver's license held for at least one year, the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles, a clean driving record, and strong customer service skills. Valet attendants must be prepared to work outside in varying weather conditions and maintain a neat appearance and positive attitude.
At Valet Park of America, employees are more than just workers – they are valued team members who receive personal recognition and are supported in their career progress. This position is a perfect fit for motivated, friendly, and dependable individuals eager to contribute to a reputable and growing company while enjoying the benefits of an active and rewarding outdoor occupation.
