Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Ability to perform basic math with money
Ability to safely operate a vehicle and perform parking maneuvers
Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to work in outdoor conditions and variable weather
Availability to work flexible hours
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or a commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money units
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate a manual transmission (highly desirable)
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor
Use guest last names during interaction
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Post in designated areas when not completing tasks
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
