Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • Minimum one month of related experience or equivalent education and training
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand time-based rate calculations
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to perform duties involving sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Must follow established operational practices and procedures
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor and effective communication at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to understand and respond to simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to comprehend 24-hour time formats and rate calculations
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Competence in parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Practice proper phone etiquette in line with Towne Park standards
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and cautiously, prioritizing safety
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and respond to inquiries
  • Share information about facility amenities, outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Transport guests to approved locations as required
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
