The role of the Valet Attendant at Reef Technology in Lexington, KY, is a full-time position with opportunities for part-time work as well, specifically at the Blue Grass Airport location. The Valet Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing exceptional parking and vehicle handling services. This position requires individuals who are customer-focused, efficient, and safety-conscious. Valet Attendants are responsible for greeting guests warmly, assisting with vehicle loading and unloading, and parking vehicles safely while adhering to all transportation regulations and company policies. The role demands attentiveness to detail, particularly in inspecting vehicles for any preexisting damage and accurately recording such information. Valet drivers must be able to quickly and safely retrieve vehicles, managing guest interactions with professionalism and courtesy.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and Shift Supervisors, the Valet Attendant ensures seamless operations within the parking team, promoting a positive environment for guests and colleagues alike. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage vehicle logistics efficiently are crucial for success in this role. Additionally, Valet Attendants may be asked to assist with traffic direction, ticket issuance, fee collection, and reconciliation of revenue during shift changes. Job Duties

  • meet and greet all guests upon arrival
  • open guest vehicle doors
  • assist with unloading vehicle when necessary
  • retrieve keys from guest
  • issue ticket to guest or enter customer information using electronic device
  • park guest car in appropriate space
  • ensure safe and appropriate operation of guest vehicles
  • inspect vehicle for preexisting damage and record information
  • quickly retrieve vehicles for waiting guests
  • assist guests with loading luggage or personal items when necessary
  • provide excellent customer service to guests
  • respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner
  • give directions to nearest highway or destination
  • direct traffic
  • position barricades
  • arrange for towing service when necessary
  • immediately report any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • request and collect relevant fees for use of service
  • assist in reconciling end of shift revenue against the ticket distribution when necessary
  • communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates
