Within the prestigious Curio Collection by Hilton, The Monarch San Antonio represents an exciting new chapter for the company. This 17-story, 200-room boutique hotel is located in the vibrant Hemisfair District of downtown San Antonio and is scheduled to open in early 2026. Inspired by the Monarch butterfly known for its winter migration across the region, the hotel integrates both natural beauty and refined sophistication. Guests will enjoy premium amenities including a full-service spa, a terrace pool, and an assortment of five food and beverage venues featuring a rooftop restaurant and bar. Situated just steps from iconic landmarks such as the River Walk and The Alamo, The Monarch offers more than just accommodation—it is a place for guests to belong, connect, and find inspiration.
The role of Overnight Valet Attendant is pivotal to The Monarch’s commitment to luxury service. Valet Attendants serve as the guests’ initial and final point of contact, playing a critical role in crafting an impeccable first impression and a memorable departure experience. This overnight position demands strict professionalism, acute attention to detail, and a deep commitment to luxury hospitality standards, ensuring safe and efficient handling of a wide range of guest vehicles, including luxury and specialty automobiles. The position fosters an environment of courteous and polished guest interaction while upholding safety protocols and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be integral in maintaining a seamless arrival and departure flow, further enhancing the guests’ overall experience with personalized service.
The Overnight Valet Attendant must exhibit exceptional communication skills and a refined professional presence aligned with a five-star hotel environment. This role requires collaboration with other departments such as concierge, front desk, and valet leads to maintain a smooth and elevated guest experience. Responsibilities extend beyond parking and retrieving vehicles to include managing valet ticketing systems, key control, inspecting vehicles for existing damage, and assisting during peak periods or special events. Flexibility in working hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings, is essential due to the nature of overnight operations at a high-end hotel.
Zachry Hotels places strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K plans, paid leave, bonuses, disability insurance, employee assistance program, and tuition reimbursement. Working with Zachry Hotels at The Monarch San Antonio means joining a company committed to excellence, diversity, and equal opportunity employment where every person matters and where the mission to create unforgettable guest moments is realized daily.
