The role of Valet Attendant at LAZ Parking is a vital first and last point of contact for customers. Valet Attendants play a significant role in representing the company's brand by delivering a warm welcome, offering courteous assistance, and ensuring the safe, efficient parking and retrieval of customers' vehicles. Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with minimum of 2 years driving experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to work weekends and varied schedules
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions including heat, wind, snow, and rain
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, run, bend, stoop, and squat frequently during shifts
- Good communication skills
- Dependability and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong customer service experience
- Parking and/or hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to drive a standard transmission
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience in hospitality or similar fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized
- Welcome guests upon arrival and departure
- Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand
- Open and close doors for every customer upon arrival and departure
- Assist guests with luggage from vehicle and to vehicle as necessary
- Turn off each car and remove keys
- Provide each customer with a valet ticket and provide retrieval process
- Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner
- Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed
- Promote awesome customer relations by smiling, going above and beyond
- Make customers love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you
