Job Description
Pueblo of Sandia is a renowned resort and casino located in New Mexico, known for its inviting atmosphere and exceptional guest services. The resort is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for its visitors by combining luxurious accommodations, top-tier entertainment, and a warm customer-centric approach. The organization operates on core principles such as integrity, fairness, collaboration, communication, and recognizing performance excellence. Pueblo of Sandia not only aims to provide top-notch services to its guests but also fosters an environment where its team members can grow, contribute, and thrive over the long term. This is a key driver behind its continued success and strong presence in the hospitality and entertainment industry. The resort employs a dedicated workforce focused on exceeding guest expectations through high service standards and professional behavior.
The role of the Valet Attendant at Pueblo of Sandia is pivotal in enhancing the overall guest experience right from their arrival. This position requires a personable individual who greets guests warmly and manages their vehicles with care and professionalism. The valet attendant is responsible for safely parking and retrieving vehicles with either manual (standard stick) or automatic transmissions, ensuring all operations align with the resort’s stringent valet policies and procedures. This role is hybrid in nature, involving both guest interaction and physical vehicle handling, demanding friendly communication skills, attention to detail, and a safety-conscious mindset. The Valet Attendant becomes one of the first points of contact for guests, setting the tone for their visit and representing the hospitality standards of Pueblo of Sandia. With this expectation, the role also includes duties such as assisting guests with their luggage, managing keys and valet tickets securely, and entering data accurately into the resort’s CPVS system.
Beyond the basic vehicle handling, this opportunity encourages team members to stay well-informed about resort amenities, local events, and dining options to provide informed recommendations to guests. Effective communication and collaboration with other departments help create a seamless and enjoyable visitor experience. The position also requires compliance with all required training sessions and punctual attendance as per scheduling policies. Physically, the role demands various abilities including balancing, lifting up to 50 pounds, crouching, and walking frequently throughout the property, adapting to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Candidates must hold a valid New Mexico driver’s license and be able to pass background checks and drug screenings, ensuring a trustworthy and reliable team. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment in an award-winning facility dedicated to guest satisfaction and team member development.
