The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is currently seeking a Valet Attendant to join their talented team. This role plays a crucial part in crafting the first and last impressions of guests by offering exceptional arrival and departure services. The Valet Attendant will be responsible for welcoming guests, safely parking their vehicles, and retrieving cars promptly upon the guests’ departure. Beyond just parking, this position involves assisting guests with luggage, opening doors, and providing a smooth and courteous service experience. Job Requirements

  • Must have previous experience in valet service
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Ability to stand and be mobile for 100 percent of shift
  • Ability to work outdoors for majority of shift
  • Ability to push and pull luggage carts up to 200 pounds
  • Ability to lift or carry luggage or boxes up to 100 pounds
  • Flexibility in availability according to business volume
  • Must have passion for hospitality

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in valet service
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive all types of vehicles including manual stick
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work outside and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to push and pull luggage carts weighing up to 200 pounds
  • Ability to lift or carry luggage or boxes up to 100 pounds
  • Flexibility in work availability
  • Passion for hospitality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests by opening car doors and welcoming them
  • Retrieve valet cars for departing guests and assist with luggage and departure experience
  • Issue appropriate valet parking tickets to guests
  • Assist guests with unloading luggage and guide them to the Front Desk
  • Offer services to transport luggage to rooms or escort guests
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Greet and open hotel doors for guests and local patrons arriving on foot
  • Station and hold hotel entrance doors for arriving and departing guests
  • Direct traffic flow and manage car and taxi positioning
  • Provide guests with directions, recommendations, and city information
  • Arrange taxis as needed for guests
  • Handle guest interactions with professionalism and hospitality
  • Resolve guest complaints and assist with inquiries related to hotel services and events
  • Drive guests within a 3-mile radius as part of the House Car program
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
  • Complete and maintain ticket information and collect revenue when needed
  • Comply with company work rules and standards
  • Work harmoniously with team and management
