We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Valet Attendant to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, prioritize excellent customer service, and can work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The Valet Attendant will be integral in providing exceptional service to guests by managing vehicle parking and retrieval efficiently and safely. With a starting pay of $25 per hour, the specific offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and geographic location, aligning with market standards.
The Valet Attendant is responsible for coordinating traffic flow, ensuring guests feel welcome and assisted from arrival to departure. This position requires excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and explaining valet procedures clearly. Attendants will monitor parking areas, promptly address illegal parking, assist guests with loading and unloading, secure guest keys, and handle payments accurately. They will also maintain a clean and safe work environment, obey all traffic laws and facility policies, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
This role often requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and being on call. The position is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, including veterans, as ABM strongly encourages those with military experience to apply. Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Prior valet or driving experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours/on call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Coordinate traffic flow
- Communicate valet procedure, information and directions clearly and effectively with guests
- Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries
- Monitor illegal parking, and immediately store vehicles
- Interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Assist guests with loading and unloading
- Collect and secure guest keys
- Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
- Identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times
- Accurately tally and split the tip pool
- Receive and receipt a variety of valet payments
- Accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
- Project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary
- Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies, and applicable pedestrian regulations
- Work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time
- Keep work area clean of debris
