Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of valet or related experience
  • Three years of management or supervisory experience
  • Valid and unexpired Wisconsin driver’s license
  • Ability to maintain acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Completion of in house Responsible Beverage program within 3 months of hire
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, counting
  • Ability to understand and interpret documents and manuals
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Specific vision abilities including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of valet or related experience
  • Three years of management or supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent preferred
  • One to two years of DOT regulatory experience preferred
  • Valid, unexpired Wisconsin driver’s license
  • Ability to maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Successful completion of in house Responsible Beverage program within 3 months of hire
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Discretion handling confidential information
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the day to day operation and administration of the Valet and Transportation department including establishing operational standards for the team members, evaluating and improving operations to meet business needs
  • Carry out management responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, motivating team members and addressing complaints
  • Establish department goals to improve guest service and operational efficiencies
  • Implement guidelines to ensure compliance with FMCSA, State and Local laws
  • Build and manage departmental budget within accepted parameters and assist in budget variance explanations
  • Read and interpret financial statements and make strategic managerial decisions
  • Adhere to DOT rules and oversee management of DOT dispatch and documentation
  • Execute programs to improve guest service, team building, and team efficiency
  • Utilize the Computerized Valet Parking System (CVPS) and MICROS registers system
  • Report any motor vehicle violations within 24 hours if assigned driving responsibilities
  • Establish and ensure compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
