Job Requirements

Valid California DMV driver’s license with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years
flexible to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays
well-groomed appearance
ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team
ability to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside in varying temperature conditions
ability to run for extended periods on all types of surfaces and up and down stairs
ability to drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions safely
ability to respond to visual and aural cues
clear English communication skills

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a Valet Parking Attendant or driver preferred
excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear, and concise fashion
one-year previous customer service experience preferred, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service
ability to work as a team player
ability to speak English clearly

Job Duties

Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who leave their car in Valet for parking
safely drives and parks cars to designated areas of Valet lots while completing the appropriate tasks including damage report, proper recording of space number, and delivery of keys to the booth
safely returns any cars from the Valet parking area back to customers while maintaining a safe speed and aware of surrounding activity while driving
reporting any and all issues and concerns immediately to a supervisor
maintain speed limit while operating vehicles on property
on occasion, assist with guest luggage transfer from Hotel Porte to bell desk
meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
