The Valet Attendant role is pivotal in enhancing the overall experience for residents and visitors by delivering courteous and friendly interactions. The primary responsibility involves providing valet services, parking vehicles safely and efficiently, and assisting with mail and package delivery. The role requires multitasking and maintaining a composed, professional demeanor while performing various duties. Valet attendants act as the first impression to community guests, greeting them cheerfully and demonstrating genuine hospitality. The position also involves occasional duties at the concierge desk, such as scheduling transportation, managing dining requests, processing work orders, and event reservations to support the community's dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive to detail, and capable of working collaboratively with other staff members to coordinate event setup and ensure smooth operational flow. This role also demands vigilance in monitoring emergency systems and maintaining the appearance of the community's front area to uphold company standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Experience in customer service environment preferably in senior living
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and residents cheerfully and thank them upon exit
  • Park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner
  • Explain valet parking policies and other guest parking options
  • Fill in at the concierge desk performing tasks such as scheduling transportation, taking dining requests, submitting work orders, and making event reservations
  • Coordinate setup and breakdown of community events and activities
  • Perform light clerical duties and act as backup for answering outside calls
  • Monitor emergency response system and fire alarm panel during daytime hours
  • Ensure front of community meets first impression standards
  • Carry out other duties assigned by supervisor
