We are currently seeking a Valet and Concierge Attendant who will play a crucial role as the first point of contact for our guests and residents. This position requires an individual who can interact with everyone in a courteous and friendly manner, providing outstanding customer service at all times. The Valet and Concierge Attendant will be responsible for managing valet services, parking and retrieving vehicles safely and efficiently, assisting with mail and package deliveries, and supporting the concierge desk with various clerical and guest service duties. This role demands excellent multitasking abilities, an eye for detail, and a genuine desire to enhance the resident and guest experience through a warm and professional demeanor.
The successful candidate will be the face of our community, creating a lasting first impression by greeting guests and residents cheerfully and expressing sincere thanks upon their departure. Key responsibilities include explaining valet parking procedures, offering alternative parking options, and managing transportation scheduling as well as event reservation requests. Additionally, the attendant will support the execution of community events by assisting with set-up and break-down tasks, monitoring emergency systems during working hours, and occasionally filling in at the concierge desk. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current valid driver’s license
- Experience in customer service, preferably senior living
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be courteous and friendly
- Able to perform light clerical duties
- Must monitor emergency systems during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current valid driver’s license
- Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic clerical skills
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols is a plus
Job Duties
- Cheerfully greet guests and residents and thank them upon exit
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and timely
- Explain valet parking and provide instructions for other guest parking options
- Schedule transportation services and take dining service requests while filling in at the concierge desk
- Submit work order requests and make reservations for community events
- Help coordinate set-up and break-down of events and activities
- Perform light clerical duties
- Act as back-up for answering outside calls
- Monitor emergency response system and fire alarm panel during daytime hours
- Ensure the front of the community meets company standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
