Job Description

The International Autos Group is a family-owned and operated network of automobile dealerships serving a diverse customer base across Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Chicago, Northwest Indiana, and Minnesota. Established with a rich history dating back to 1968 when Frank Mauro purchased the original dealership, the company has thrived through three generations under the Mauro family. Today, the organization is headed by Ralph Mauro, Frank's son, who has successfully carried forward the legacy and strong work ethics imparted by his father. Ralph, in turn, has instilled these values in his son Francis, who represents the third generation of the Mauro family's active involvement in the automotive industry. This foundation of family commitment and integrity ensures a company culture that values hard work, loyalty, and employee growth.

International Autos Group specializes in providing quality new and used vehicles while upholding exceptional customer service standards. Their dealerships operate with a community-centered approach, aiming to meet the unique needs of their market areas and foster lasting relationships with their customers. The company is known for its dedication to employees, offering training and career development opportunities to nurture professional growth within the automotive sector.

The current job opening is for an Automotive Detailer position within the International Autos Group team. This role involves cleaning and refurbishing new and pre-owned vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. The Automotive Detailer plays a vital part in maintaining the quality and presentation of vehicles displayed on the lot and those serviced for customers. Responsibilities include washing vehicle exteriors, cleaning and vacuuming interiors, applying wax and protective coatings, and ensuring that each vehicle is free of defects such as dents or scratches. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety practices, and a commitment to the overall cleanliness of the dealership environment.

Working as an Automotive Detailer at International Autos Group offers not only exposure to the automotive retail industry but also a chance to become part of a family-oriented organization that values tradition and innovation. Employees benefit from paid training sessions that equip them with the skills necessary to excel in their role. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K retirement plan, and observance of closed Sundays to ensure work-life balance. These perks reflect the organization’s dedication to supporting its employees' well-being and career advancement.

Candidates in this role must be proactive, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of vehicle presentation and service. They will be expected to work efficiently within specified time allowances while maintaining exceptional quality. The work environment is fast-paced yet supportive, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. The Automotive Detailer contributes significantly to the dealership’s reputation by ensuring customers receive vehicles that look pristine and are ready for immediate use or sale.
