In this role as a Valet Attendant at Belmont Village Senior Living, the ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality to residents and guests. The role involves the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of vehicles within the community's on-site parking garage. This position is part-time, with shifts scheduled on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering a flat hourly rate of $20 per hour with no tips included. The Valet Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the experience of the seniors and their guests by ensuring their vehicles are managed with caution, professionalism, and care. Employees in this role will excel in dynamic and physically engaging environments and will consistently demonstrate empathy, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude. Additionally, the Valet Attendant will assist with general hospitality duties such as package delivery and aid residents with opening vehicle or building doors when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clear driving record
  • Ability to work Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm
  • Must be physically able to perform a fast-paced, active role
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Demonstrated reliability and professionalism
  • Must be able to work well within a team and independently

Job Duties

  • Ensure safe operation of the customer's vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances
  • Provide parking and retrieval of customer vehicles in designated spaces, record location and number and safeguard keys and tickets
  • Make hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction while assisting with opening of vehicle/building doors as necessary
  • Assist with package delivery within the community as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth and efficient operations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and guests
  • Adhere to community policies and procedures regarding vehicle and resident safety
