The Driveway Valet role is essential in supporting this innovative environment by providing a seamless and premium customer experience focused on online vehicle acquisitions and pickups. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various responsibilities including vehicle inspections, sales facilitation via an online portal, and thorough paperwork completion. The Valet acts as the primary liaison between customers and Driveway, ensuring that every transaction meets the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. This role is based in New Jersey with a flexible schedule that includes five days a week and the potential for weekend work. The hourly pay range for this position is $19.25 to $28.85, with the anticipated starting rate between $19.25 and $21.00 per hour, aligned with skills, experience, and organizational needs. Compensation will be finalized through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

In this role, the Driveway Valet is tasked with facilitating online vehicle acquisition sales by managing customer appointment calendars, educating customers on the acquisition process, maintaining marketplace reports, and ensuring excellent communication with the team and leadership. The position demands a commitment to providing a thorough vehicle inspection and utilizing online valuation tools to accurately purchase or appraise customer vehicles. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to troubleshoot customer needs efficiently, and fully navigates the customer through every step of the acquisition process. Additionally, this role requires acquiring and maintaining a notary commission and undergoing intensive training to remain knowledgeable about all brands’ products and features.
