The Vacuum Concierge acts as a brand ambassador, providing personalized and proactive assistance to guests, educating them on available wash options, and promoting sales of monthly wash packages and service upgrades. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers, have confidence with technology, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include greeting every guest warmly, anticipating and responding to their needs in real time, supporting sales initiatives during slower periods or inclement weather, and learning to operate point-of-sale and license plate recognition systems to aid in smooth operations and sales support. The Vacuum Concierge also maintains cleanliness and aesthetics of the car wash, particularly in the vacuum area, and performs routine maintenance on vacuum equipment to ensure high service quality. Success in this role requires ownership of guest satisfaction and embodying the company’s WE OWN IT culture, which emphasizes accountability, customer focus, and teamwork.This position may be part or full time, with typical part-time hours ranging from 16-24 hours per week and full-time hours from 30-40 hours per week. Weekend shifts are required. The work environment is professional retail, where the car wash operates every day of the week from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The job involves working both indoors and outdoors, adapting to all weather conditions, and physical demands such as moving equipment up to 30 pounds, walking, bending, twisting, and climbing steps. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, approachable demeanor, strong communication skills, the ability to work well with others, and a professional and upbeat attitude even during busy times. Prior sales experience and comfort using technology are preferred but not required. The Vacuum Concierge position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but offers significant potential for internal growth and development within the company for motivated individuals. Job Duties
- Provide proactive, friendly, and personalized service to guests primarily in the vacuum area ensuring exceptional experience
- Greet every guest to build relationships, educate them on wash options, and drive sales of monthly wash packages and service upgrades
- Serve as a brand ambassador in the vacuum area by anticipating guest needs, assisting with vacuum use, and resolving concerns in real time
- Support fleet sales and business development efforts during slower periods or inclement weather including outreach, lead generation, and relationship building
- Learn and operate all aspects of POS and LPR systems to support sales, guest check-in, and car wash operations as needed
- Monitor wash quality and overall guest satisfaction, taking ownership to address issues and elevate the experience
- Help maintain vacuum equipment and perform routine care as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality service
- Oversee property aesthetics with a focus on the vacuum area ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the car wash and surrounding property
- Exceed guest expectations by delivering a concierge-level experience that drives loyalty and repeat visits
- Exemplify and uphold the WE OWN IT culture by taking ownership of guest relationships, sales results, and the overall success of the location
