Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- no related work experience required
- knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic concepts of food safety
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
- frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- knowledge of sanitation procedures including basic concepts of food safety
- ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
- attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Duties
- Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine
- cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
- sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors
- removes trash and garbage to designated areas
- cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards
- re-stocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
- assists with basic setup and breakdown tasks as directed
