Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending and lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Physical ability to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment parts in a timely manner
  • Put away deliveries following proper procedures including labeling and dating products
  • Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen, dining room, and storeroom floors
  • Keep towels and soap dispensers clean and stocked
  • Transport ice to designated areas such as drink and salad counters
  • Maintain temperature logs using thermometers
  • Change dishwashing water and monitor chemical additives for washing and sanitizing
  • Check soap supply and test sanitizing agent levels
  • Maintain and clean dish machine, monitoring soap and rinse supplies
  • Replenish dishes and dry trays at counters promptly
  • Follow cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and traffic areas
  • Perform daily cleaning assignments and departmental closing procedures
  • Empty and clean trash cans and discard all trash and cardboard bins
