The position available is a full-time, non-management role in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category, with a competitive pay rate of $19.88 per hour. As a valued member of the Sheraton team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and storage areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, handwashing stations, pot scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. The associate will be tasked with cleaning and disinfecting kitchen surfaces, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment consistently.

Additionally, the role includes managing inventory by receiving deliveries, properly storing perishable goods, and rotating stock to maintain freshness and prevent waste. You will also be responsible for ensuring that clean dishes are stored appropriately, employing chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinse agents in a three-compartment sink for dishwashing duties. Inspecting and sorting clean and dirty items, re-washing as necessary, and organizing cutlery and containers are essential tasks.

Maintaining waste management standards by emptying trash bins, recycling cardboard and glass, and maintaining the trash deposit area in a clean condition, are important responsibilities of this role. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing tasks requiring bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching. Safety protocols are strictly followed, with training provided to identify workplace hazards, report incidents, and support a secure work environment.

Job Duties
